From coast to coast, Choice Hotel Group hotels are located in the popular cities of Galway and Dublin, as well as the beautiful towns of Ennis in Co. Clare and Youghal in Co. Cork.

All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning this great prize is sign up to become a member of Me and the Water before August 16!

We will pick a winner at random, from all new members in the competition period, and will contact them after August 16.

Terms and Conditions

• By entering the prize draw you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions.
• The prize draw is being run by Swim Ireland, Irish Sport HQ, National Sports Campus, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.

Eligibility to enter

• The prize draw is open to entrants over 18 years of age only with the following exceptions:
  • Staff and related persons of Swim Ireland and the Choice Hotel Group
• All new members of Me and the Water over 18 years of age will automatically be entered into the draw.
• The prize draw is free to enter.

How to enter

• The prize draw opens for new members at 12pm on 10/07/2021 and closes at 6pm on 09/08/2021.
• Swim Ireland will not accept responsibility if contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate.

The prize

• The prize will be as follows:
  • The winner will receive an overnight stay, including breakfast in one of the Choice Hotel Group selection of hotels across the country.  The winner may chose the hotel of their choice at a time of their choice, subject to availability
  • The prize also includes a family pass to take part in one of Swim Ireland’s open water activities.
• The prize of the hotel stay for this draw has been kindly donated to Swim Ireland by the Choice Hotel Group.
• The winner will be drawn at random.
• The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
• Swim Ireland reserves the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
• The decision of Swim Ireland regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Winner announcement

• The prize winner will be notified after 16/08/2021 using the contact details provided in the membership form
• Swim Ireland will attempt to contact winner up to two times. If contact is not made, Swim Ireland reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner.

Claiming the prize

• The winner can chose to stay in any one of the Choice Hotel Group Hotels for 1 night including breakfast.
• The prize must be utilised within 6 months
• The choice of hotel and the booking must be made directly between the prize winner and the Choice Hotel Group, details will be provided to the winner by Swim Ireland.
• The prize winner can also choose a family open water activity, provided by Swim Ireland

Data protection and publicity

• Winners agree to participate in any reasonable publicity related to the prize draw which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.
• All personal information shall be used in accordance with the Swim Ireland’s Data Protection Policy, accessible here: insert link.

General

• Swim Ireland reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
• The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by Irish law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
